Some among you are worried in the support by the consumption of their transfered data quota. We are working on a on demand purchase system of transfered data which will enable you to preserve your current offer while following your traffic evolution.

How will it occur ? We will allow to buy for example 1Go of additional data for 0,30€/month. It will directly put in Management>Paying content.

It's a very good price because we don't invoice the bandwidth but the real traffic.
Some hosts announce limited offers and chase the big consumers...we will never do that.

The installation of this system is not yet in work we will be tolerant with the exceedance of transfered data while waiting for the activation of the new on demand system.

Also we are thinking about a new tool allowing you to plane your transfered data consumption.

As promised here a new part of the xFruits collection, the model "Pastek".

The watermelon, a very refreshing fruit, has also a very rich chromatic scale, it's naturally that we decided to award it a model.

Thus we incured a dark green as a background color, a vivid green for titles, white for the text and finally pink representing the watermelon heart for links, footers, ect...

The site format is approximately the same  that  the one of "Strawberry" model.

They are finally there ! You were numerous these last months to claim the publication of new models to design your blogs and portals. Consider it done ! This week we publish the first model of the "xFruits" collection, "Strawberry's" model.

This design totally work off the old models on the one hand, for the blog model, by the gallery module in the footer by defaut, on the other hand, for portal, by a setting page with 3 columns.

Therefore "Strawberry's" is the first model of this very fruty collection which you will certainly find to your taste ;)

As you could notice, we benefited from the creative dash to pimp our blog. New banner, a column over, colors regained in popularity...

Today we add some modifications the video functionality :

1. Personalization of the reader size for each video
2. Display of the video thumbail in the management
3. Encoding indicator
4. Improvement of video encoding queue
5. Informations : size max in uploading and the formats supported list

We have just to put on line a major evolution. For a few months, we host videos on our server in their format. But the lamda user had some problems with it because he did not always have the goog reader.

WM integrates now the same technology as the video websites like Youtube or Daillymotion. Furthermore we guarantee that with WM you will never have publicity on your videos.

All our videos are automatically encoded in Flash format by our servers.

What is the advantage of this format ?

99,99 % of web navigators are able to read the Flash (FLV). In more you can change the display format of the video and even display it in fullscreen with Zoom function.

In the parametrers of the page "Write" you can choice several display sizes :

- embedded in the article in formats 320*240 or 400*300
- in iBox 640*480 it's very beautiful !

The idea of a display in iBox was borrowed from Thierry Bézier with which we worked on the localization of Wmaker in Japon, currently he publishes a very good blog of interview about Web 2.0 actors.

In October the CEO of Netvibes Tariq Krim proposed to me to translate Netvibes in Corsica.
Philippe, an associate founder of WM which is both a computer engineer and a perfect linguist tackled to this task helped by Jean Pierre already translator of Opera navigator (verison 6). The lined up was last week, but as we were in moving, we speak about it today.

We battled today with the servers. We accelerated the startup of the new servers (following the problems which we had yesterday), they are very fast as you can see. But in spite of the crop of tests made before the "rackage", we had some surprises.

The stats will be up to date the week end but from tomorrow we will have compensated for a part of the delay. You will be able to visualize those of wednesday.
The express newsletter was also reactivated.

Tomorrow we will treat the requests on standby of the support which cumulated yesterday and today.

The newsletter sending works again, all those which were done from 3:00 am to 8:30 pm this Wednesday must be done again.

WM started to row at the end of afternoon, we had a problem on one of the 4 Web frontals servers thus we lost 25 % of our power in PHP.
We activated one of the new servers sooner than intented, WM is become again fluid.
